The Millennium Drago
In Icod there is a huge specimen of drago tree (Dracaena draco) declared a National Monument in 1917. He is credited with an age of thousands years although there´s no studyes to confirm such longevity, probably that the plant is a few hundred years old.
This Drago is the symbol of Icod, as you can see in the coat of arms of the city. Drago in the environment there is a park that exhibits different endemics plants of Tenerife.
